Celebrating YOU, our sweet son!!!

 YOU ARE eight!

You were just in my arms, all pink skinned, wrinkly and squishy and so perfectly new and gorgeous in every way.....

.....oh we thanked God for you, our awaited for 4th baby! YOU are a gift.


We couldn't wait till your brother and sisters met you! Oh, how they would swoon!


And, they did....we all did.

And, ya know what......we still do.

.... you touch our hearts in a very special way.

Your silliness, your kind heart and your love for life makes us fall in love with you more each day.....

We are a funnier, and happier family because you are a part of it! 

Happy 8th birthday to our beloved Ashy-bear! I am so thankful that you are only 8. 

I will relish and savor the gift of knowing that we get at least a whole decade more to hold you tightly till you will one day be set free to discover God's great and wonderful purposes for your life.

I know that day will come quickly, everyone says it will......so I will HOLD TIGHTLY and cherish every moment with you, my son.

  You were born for such a BIG reason, God has a special plan for your life.

You are wonderfully made, my beautiful son. Unique and special in every way.

Today was to celebrate YOU and the blessing that you are in our life!!!! We are so thankful for you!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday!! (and why this birthday is EXTRA special)

Our sweet girl is THREE!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!

She has been so excited for this day to come, always holding up two petite little fingers to say her current age, then "pop" goes that third tiny finger to say "I WILL BE THREE SOON!"

And, it is HERE! We've been SO excited too! This birthday is extra special to us for a specific reason.

As of April, our sweet girl had officially been with us (her forever family) longer than anywhere else.

She was with her first mom for a precious 5 months....

 and then in an orphanage  for 15 months.

  and, As of April....she has been with us for 16 months!

We are so blessed!!!!

This is a huge milestone! And, one that we've been looking forward to for so very long.We are so grateful to God!

And....to celebrate.....she got her first pet!

She kept saying, "HE's SO CUTE!"

She affectionatly named him, Tolee (after the Koala bear on Kai-lan)

The actual morning of her birthday, she woke up to lots of singing, decorations and a special M&M breakfast. Oh, did I mention that she had slept in her bed all night (I guess that was her bday gift to momma....cause that NEVER happens) LOL

And, Ashy had bought Tolly a very special gift, months ago, with his very own money. He was SO SO excited to give it to her. And, she absolutely loves those sweet little finger puppets!!

She adores her big brother!

and then, later that afternoon,  we took her on a special birthday shopping trip where she was so excited to pick out her own balloon, new sparkly light-up shoes and (of course) a new Dora purse!!

.... she had to wait a whole 4 days for her family DORA party, complete with Pinata, cake and ice-cream!!!

SHE WAS SO EXCITED!!!!!

It was a very special day filled with a sense of joy and utter gratefulness that God would bless our life with such a treasure of Tolly!!

 

We love you, sweet baby girl, and we are so blessed to be your family!!!!
